• Life is all about submitting. One must submit to the ordinance of man or he will face the penalty for not submitting. Try to not pay your taxes and soon the IRS will be knocking at your door, and if you continue to evade your taxes you may find yourself in Jail!
• The Christian life takes it a step farther, a one who clams the name of Christ, must submit one’s self to Christ! For He is bought with a price! Rom 12:1-2
  • “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Ro 12:1-2)
• The Passage in Colossians 3 takes it a steep farther even. One that clams, or has been given a new name in Christ is not only to submit to Christ, and give Christ Preeminence, or first place, he is also to submit to his fellow man!
